I started in Limerick Institute of Technology on the first week of September. But it was for a couple of hours each day doing a bridging maths course. Maths is essential for a career in Engineering and therefore essential to my course. The course - Industrial Automation and Robotic Systems - didn't start until the second week. Although there were no tutorials or practicals the first week of the course they were still pretty full days of trying to find my feet and seeing what I'm behind in compared with other second years. I got entry to start in 2nd year. It was a bit confusing at first trying to get my bearings and I'm still finding my way around the place. There are student leaders who are very helpful though. The pace hasn't got too hectic yet. But it's only the second week. I hope to say a bit more about college and being a mature student another day.
